AUISET Biotechnology Co. Ltd. (“AUISET”) is pleased to announce that our CEO, Mr. Clement Poon Wai, attended the “Guangzhou-Hong Kong Collaboration: Building the Bay Area” thematic event held yesterday (March 17) at 1/F, 16E, Hong Kong Science Park. As one biotech starup company, AUISET actively participated in this significant gathering to deepen technological innovation and industrial integration between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, and witnessed the official unveiling of the “Guangzhou-Hong Kong Technology and Industry Integration Innovation Center”.
This event represents the first concrete action taken by Guangzhou and Hong Kong following the Two Sessions to implement President Xi Jinping’s important directives on the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It also aligns with the deployment for Greater Bay Area construction in the “15th Five-Year Plan” and advances the new “one point, two places” positioning of the Greater Bay Area. The event brought together nearly 200 leaders from government departments, representatives from the science and technology community, business associations, and enterprises from both cities, with a strong focus on four key areas: life and health, artificial intelligence and robotics, microelectronics, and new energy. It aims to build a full-chain service system covering “technology R&D — achievement transformation — industrial landing.”
At the event, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Yuexiu Group officially signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding for the “Guangzhou-Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Platform,” committing to in-depth cooperation in scientific research collaboration, achievement acceleration, industry incubation, enterprise services, and more. Concurrently, the Guangzhou Development and Reform Commission (Guangzhou Greater Bay Area Office) and the Hong Kong Productivity Council signed a strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding to jointly establish the Guangzhou-Hong Kong New Quality Productive Forces Empowerment Center, focusing on three major directions: sci-tech synergy, future industries, and enterprise globalization, to further promote efficient allocation and two-way circulation of innovation elements between the two places.
AUISET adheres to the core technology of Aggregation-Induced Emission (AIE), originating from the groundbreaking discovery by renowned chemist Professor Ben Zhong Tang. The company focuses on innovative applications in the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) field, with ongoing development in human diagnostics (such as women’s health and infectious disease detection) as well as pet diagnostics, delivering fast, accurate, and user-friendly testing solutions to support healthcare professionals and individual users in better health management.
Mr. Clement Poon Wai, CEO of AUISET, stated: “We are truly honored to participate in the ‘Guangzhou-Hong Kong Collaboration: Building the Bay Area’ event. This gathering not only highlights the strong synergy between Guangzhou and Hong Kong in key fields such as life and health, but also provides AUISET with valuable opportunities for cross-border collaboration and resource matching. We will actively leverage the platform advantages of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Technology and Industry Integration Innovation Center to accelerate the transformation and industrial application of AIE technology, contributing to the construction of the Greater Bay Area as an international sci-tech innovation hub. AUISET has always been committed to innovation-driven development, and we look forward to continuing our deep cultivation in human diagnostics and pet diagnostics, bringing more breakthroughs to the health industry in the Greater Bay Area and beyond.”
AUISET will continue to capitalize on Hong Kong’s international platform and Guangzhou’s industrial hinterland advantages, actively engaging in Guangzhou-Hong Kong sci-tech project collaboration, cross-border cultivation of high-quality enterprises, and efficient allocation of innovation elements, to jointly drive high-quality development in the Greater Bay Area.
